INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION

Odoo doesn't stop at the office

We connect Odoo to your machines, printers and installations, so you have a grip on what is really happening on the floor and not on what was typed in by hand.

We make Odoo run on the shop floor

Standard Odoo handles your orders, stock and production in the office. We carry that through to the machine. We program on the controller ourselves and we build in Odoo ourselves, so the link between the two is not a translation between two suppliers.

Machine data in Odoo

Machine data lands straight in Odoo: start and stop, quantities, weights, faults. Instructions and parameters travel the other way, from Odoo to the machine.

Automatic printing

Labels and documents come out of the right printer automatically, with the right data on them, at the moment they are needed.

Odoo drives your installations

Pick systems, sorting lines, lifts and conveyors get their instructions from Odoo and report back what happened. Several automations together, from one system.

MORE THAN A CONNECTION

A grip on what is really happening

The machine reports what it is doing itself. Nobody has to type it in any more.

Every label and every document with the right data, every time.

Lead times, downtime and quantities as they really are, not as they were estimated.

Office and shop floor in one system, no separate software for labels or machine data.

Traceable per lot: what was made, when, on which machine and at what weight.

Start with one machine or one printer and expand when it suits you.

What that looks like in practice

Direct printing

Labels and A4 documents straight out of the right printer, in the right quantity and with the right data. From Odoo in the cloud to printers on site.

Recipes and machine parameters

Temperatures, speeds and dosages managed in Odoo, linked to the bill of materials and sent to the machine when an order starts.

Warehouse automation

Vertical lifts, sorting lines and conveyors get their pick instructions from Odoo and report back what was picked.

Start and stop times of work orders

The work order starts and stops on the real machine status. Lead times and downtime come from the installation, not from an estimate.

Recording quantities and raw materials

Produced quantities and consumed raw materials go straight from the machine into the production order.

Weights from industrial scales

Weights from load cells and weighbridges go straight into the receipt, the production order or the shipment.

Operator screens at the line

A screen next to the line is not an ERP screen. We build it as a separate application in kiosk mode on an industrial PC: large buttons, a reset per zone and a message log with filters.

Maintenance and energy

Machines and installations sit in Odoo as equipment, with a schedule that switches them on and off, a pre-start after a shutdown period and a calculation based on the ambient conditions.

FOR WHOEVER ASKS

What we work with

Controllers

Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, including merging and migrating existing TIA projects. Communication over Profinet and Modbus, and OPC UA where that is the way in.

Robots

FANUC through our own connector with Odoo, and Omron arms in pilot setups.

Peripherals

Load cells, pH and pressure sensors, pneumatics, ConveyLinx roller conveyors, vertical lifts, industrial printers, fixed and handheld scanners.

Infrastructure

Local servers next to the line so the installation keeps running when the internet connection drops, with a secured link to the Odoo environment in the cloud.

CUSTOMER STORY

What AEB says about it

AEB makes vehicle signage and has worked with Odoo since 2023. After two difficult projects with other partners, we took over their existing Odoo environment.

Read the customer story

“I would call it above all a very warm and professional collaboration. There is good, direct contact, and things are handled with real expertise, which goes beyond being able to code in Odoo. Understanding our business processes, that is what I find important.”

Which machine will you connect first?

We come to the shop floor, look at which signals are already there and say what we think is worth connecting.
