Production planning fails when the first work order starts with a guess. The problem is rarely that you have no plan at all. More often, sales promises, component availability, machine time and shop-floor priorities are all telling different stories.

Inventory accuracy is decided on the shop floor, not in a spreadsheet at the end of the month. Odoo can show reliable stock only when each physical movement is recorded in the same way it happened. For manufacturing managers heading into an autumn demand peak, production planning or a year-end stocktake, that link matters long before a visible variance appears.
